:headbang2:headbang2 got my tank.

Now just need to fill up the water, get temp right.

I have replaced the entire bioball and filter pad with my old wet and dry filter. There should have no problem with bacteria in filtration.

I am taking heaters from the other tank as well, so no foult play.

Kelberi are going in tonight OR tomorrow. ^_^

NICE bro!!:headbang2
it looks great stand and all.
do some plants!
make it look like the last setup.

look at the kelberis...all staring at their new home.

Just moved all my parrots in there... test drive x 24hrs and see what happen. Basically I transferred 50% of old tank's water, filter pad, bioballs to the new tank.
So... new tank is not so new. It's more like a 50% water change.... kind of.

You can see bubbles still attach on surface.
All my fish have starved 3 days prior transfer.

I am shocked Rapps' kelberi looks so pretty in the new tank under different kind of lighting. Note the other tank I use fluorescent from Home Depot :irked:

yeah... it actually appears bigger than the actual size.
89" long x 36" HT x 30" width. With stand and canopy is 96" tall.
I think it's about 350 to 375 gal.

I am really happy with this tank, so does my wife which is the most important factor. :D
89x36x30/251=382.9 without the sump, so roughly I'd say 380-400 gallons!

Wesley's close, 415gal.

hot damn, james... that ish is huge.... is that like a foot off from you ceiling?
love the stand, very traditional looking...

Some update of my new tank.

ONE casualty :cry: When I was trying to net my biggest kelberi ( from Rapps' 2nd batch, the one with couple spangles in anal fin ), it jumped and hit the top of my 220 gal tank. Right after that... it became lethargy and died within 2 hours... It was MY favorEST cichla... WHY WHY and WHY.

Actually I am glad I get to change a bigger tank now coz sooner or later this will happen to others when they outgrow the tank.

The rest of them did well x more than 24hrs. They all took some feeders and now swim around.

I did not know cichla display themselves in front of mirror like bettas??? They color up pretty nicely. COOL.
