VERY nice camera. My only tidbit of advice would be to hawk the manual, know what function does what, and practice, practice.

After reading thsi thread :D Things are a little different and my wants have changed alittle.. But I am still working with new settings :D

I generally despise using flash :D

Hello,

i'm photographing since 3 years ... my first camera was a CANON PowerShot A400 (only 3.2 megapixels). A little camera with nice abilities - not the first choice to get pics from bichirs but nice efforts with snakeheads:

My next camera was a NIKON E5700 (a bit more megapixels ... 6,2) with a external flash unit - a good choice to make pics from bichirs (and works with snakeheads too):

Last month i got my first DSLR: A PENTAX K20D (14,6 megapixels ... i think that's enough) with a 18-55mm and a 70-300mm Macro. Having more time to go outside and making some tours i'm trying to do other pics than those from my fish:

i got a sony cybershot 10.1 mega pixels but it cant focus through acrylic worth crap and glass is right behind it. i need a new camera...

and the shudder speed is WAY slow... dont EVER buy this camera!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the problem is not the camera...
