No problem guys, I'm just glad you enjoyed the latest issue. :thumbsup:

My question is, I'm sure they are not conifers and are deciduous trees...just not sure what type. Is there any test i can do before putting it in my tank? Also, is the drying period outside required?

I'm not aware that there is a test prior to adding to the tank, but reports suggest dubious pieces of wood will leach and make the water quite milky in appearence.

Yes the drying period is better outside, in a nice sunny spot!

Just a quick heads up to say that Issue 1 has had a make over and re-launched with new text layout and more photos.

This is mainly due to feedback regarding some of the text layouts. Hopefully it is now easier to read?
