Awesome fish! I have kept a large group of these guys for the last 6 years. If you are planning on keeping some of the fry or starting a second generation in the future, be sure to select males that have the vertical bars connected just above the forehead and before the dorsal. I just grew out close to 100 fry to select 5 males and 10 females from, its always a good idea to selectively breed your fish, plus it fun!

Yes I agree, but here in Canada beggers and be choosers lol. I got these guys from Daves Fish and am quite happy with them. I'd prefer fully striped males with no breaks in the lines also (sign of inbreeding when the lines become weak). Do you have females available for sale?
 
I got to stop looking at these fish I am gonna need a 1000 gallon aquarium in no time.
