Oscars are such under-rated fish; if they were uncommon/expensive/difficult-to-breed they would be one of the hottest commodities in the aquarium hobby. But they're common and dirt-cheap, so people forget just how cool they are. :')
And I really wish that Parrots, Flowerhorns, and those oscars can stay without making all "trouble" in community tanks, at least each of them in a tank with few hiding spots. But these guys grow massive and aggressive, and 260+ tanks are getting smaller as they grow! So guy like me, not having too much space to keep 100+ gallons tank in the home, can not put all of them together unless having bigger tanks and bigger environment. I am keeping one parrot (baby 1.5") and a kamfa (1 inch) with partition, will be keeping them with partitioned for next couple of months, but I am sure I will have to upgrade tank as soon as possible..
