The coolest thing! Fat goldfish>

I was at a friends helping with a w/c and They had a fat longtail goldfish and it kept pestering the siphon and I got his tail and white eggs fell up but the tiger barbs were eating them before they hit the bottom, and it happened again.

So I scooped the goldfish out of the tank and put it in a 30g with half the same water and the fish laid it looked like a hundred.

Is there anything I can tell my friend to do to the water to help them hatch, there is only a young oscar in there and he didnt seem interested. If nothing else it was cool to see.

there is only one gold fish? there not going to hatch. they arent like guppys where they fertilize the eggs inside. or i am mistaken i always thought gold fish where egg scatterers were the boy puts sperm on the eggs the girl laid

There was 2 different goldfish but they are two different types but they wernt fertilized because the eggs are in a different tank.
