Red devil-My mom is the only one of us four that just using reading glasses occasionally too. That's great though I just hope my vision doesn't worsen,Luckily I have a very static and light perscription.

Geeimatiree-I wanted contacts too then never wore them as they were moer of an inconvenience than glasses. A couple of my friends have worn them for years though.

I dunno about you, but i sure wouldn't want latex eyes.

I got contacts. I am the guy that the optomitrist hates b/c I NEVER take out my contacts unless I change them and don't change them for months at a time. My eyes don't bug me and never have when I leave them in for long times. My perscription hasen't changed in a long time so it's not getting worse. So I don't feel a need to take them out like recamenbed. And I have done this for years and not one eye infection. Hell I haven't had glasses in over 10 years.

and apparently my myopia is so bad I can only use rigid contacts, which i can't stand.
definitely have to get some lasik done when i'm older.

Actually from what I've read 40/20 is below average, yes a vision of 20/20 is average but if you had really good vision it would be 20/15 or 20/10 would be really good. I've seen the two numbers go both ways though.

better do rescerch on lasik i wanted it to but there have bin many reported cases of it going bad after a few years i hope they get a fix on it i would love not to wear glasses after 40 years<<<<<<<yes old fart lmaooooo
