The Corydoras Thread

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Love Cories, I haven't been able to keep them in a while due to having cichlids; but I'm going to investigate them again when I upgrade :) I believe my dad has some bronze cories I gave him that are around 6 years old just now, predating my existing tank lol

Here's 4/5 of my new paleatus I got today! I'll do an update in the thread about it tomorrow but I'm leaving the light off tonight to ease stress and can't get the best pictures now. They're about 2-2.25" TL as of now. Will work on conditioning them to breed in about a week once I have a fry tank setup.

My planted 40b is almost all corys. Ive got about 10 albinos, 1 emerald, and half a dozen juli corys. Doesnt matter the species. They all like to play together.

Also have a small shoal of zebra danios and 2 juvenile angel fish

Hey guys, Im new to fishkeeping. Wanted to know if its normal for my sterbae corydoras top fins to be sort of disfigured. Its like they've been cut or something. Its how I got them from my local fish store. Will they grow back? and what can I do to help speed up the process or atleast maintain a good environment. BTW I have a 30 gallon hardscape with a few tetras and 2 Blue rams.
