Brings back memories of my big guy! How old is the super star? Lovely crab, by the way!

He is about 4 years old. We have been through 5 sucessful moults. He has gotten really aggressive though this past month or so and I am wondering if maybe he is mature now. Who knows? I am told he would probably kill a female even if I could find one so he is out of luck, poor guy. I like him, he is pretty interesting to watch. He will only eat black fish and lets the ghost shrimp walk all over him. LOL That is how I ended up with 200 guppies, my friend brought me some to feed him and he didn't like them so they moved into my 20 gallon.

4 years, and he doesn't like eating guppies! He has some catching up to do then! Houdini LOVED to eat prawns, and any other small fish. Hope you've got him in a deep, and secure tank! Else he'll go walkabout's like mine

I had crabs once...but one trip to the Dr. and they were gone.



Fiddler crabs are abundant here (Florida). Anywhere there are mangrove flats, there are fiddler crabs. (We use them for bait (sorry)).
