So I picked some succulent little earthworms for my little TSN Daisy... and she loved them! However... She didn't get to eat them all on the first try...
I turned away after she had been munching happily to clean a tank, when I turned back around this is what I saw...

One of the worms was crawling out of her gill!:WHOA: Poor girl... I'm pretty sure she got her vengeance as soon as it made it all the way out though

Yup this happens sometimes. Try cutting them small.

She wont take them if they are small... they have to be wriggling around to get her attention... but she did eat out of my hand today... so that was cool! :D

Ewwww ^^ water quality issue too

Not harmful for worm to come back out of gill =P

i tie them to a string bc i cant reach the bottom of my tank its too tall. and my redtail takes them like they are nothing.

No water quality issues at all actually... water is crystal clear. Bad camera quality is the only issue here... it pics up the color of the lights in odd ways... always makes everything look green or yellow...
Quiet frankly my camera phone takes better pics than my actual camera.

See, nice and clear :D

If you cut them in half and drop them in they should still wiggle for a minute, i do that with a couple of my new rays and they take them like that.
