THE DEAD FISH THREAD!!!!!

yeah i feel all your pain i had just gotten 2 4" redtail catfish a while back for 18 dollars combined my friend had given me a couple other bluechannel cats because he got rid of his tank next thing you know all my fish are floating at the top with the parasite ick all over there bodys. i had lost half of my comunity luckyly i saved my 2 channel cats (first fish i had ever had) from death :((
 
well had a massive dead fish happening the other night

did the wc on my 140 and filled it a bit to full came back to find this the next morning

i bought a separate freezer just for fish. and yesterday when i was emtying it and i found a 2 foot silver aro skeleton from about 2-3 years ago lol. have noo clue where the flesh went...
 
what i find most amazing is the way the color just leaves them when they die

man what a sucky night last night I came to do wc tank maintenance etc... and i find this beside my 100g

i even had the air supply suctioned up half way up the tank wall just goes to show how smart and cunning lobsters are
 
wow sorry for all the dead fish. I just lost a zarie blue frontosa,peacock bass,eureka peacock cichlid. I move them to my new tank and woke in the moring to the dead
 
i love the way this thread keeps coming back.
my bichir is still in the freezer....luckily my mums been on a diet lol so she hasnt noticed. when i first started putting them in she would go mad!!! now she gives me a plastic tub and carrier bag to put them in first lol

i may get him out later and put a few pics up
