Thanks Jarret. He's at least 18in. He likes to hide in the back corner of the tank, hard to get a decent picture of him. I'll get some decent pix and post up soon. BTW, I bought it as a Cephalosilurus apurensis, not sure if same as p. fowleri or just look alike
It's kept with ]v[onsters, so it doesn't bother to try to eat any of them... lol. I saw a pix one of them had an oscar in its mouth so I'm on the cautious side when putting fish in there. Plus, Shamu always beat it when it come to eating tankmate lolYeah, it looks more like apurensis. Do how many fish has it eaten or tried to eat? Lol
Utima 4000, and weekly water change (3-4 days water change on some tank)
With so many fishes in your tank and there is not too much water, what type of filteration do you use so that ammonia and nitrite will be at zero? Or do you change the water frequently?
Man your bichir tank is awesome. It makes me sad seeing those bichir. I missed them.Yet, there's still room for them to grow...

Why being sad?Man your bichir tank is awesome. It makes me sad seeing those bichir. I missed them.![]()
I missed seeing my giant lap and congicus swimming in my tank. It's true what people said about you don't realized what you have until you loose it. If I could turn back time I probably would have kept a few.Why being sad?

I guess I should be happy the bichirs went to a good home.
