the devil gang (Bagarius, maybe ID need?!)

I'm no expert, but it seems like you have a mix of B. yarrelli and B. bagarius.

The only way to tell is wait to see how big they grow... B. bagarius doesn't get much bigger than 10-12".

I've also read that B. yarrelli are much more aggressive.

ive never seen a B.bagarius bigger than 8",
they grow very slow.
the yarelli,if any are in there, will grow very quickly.

thanks!

so I think you're right. It's so difficult to see the difference between Bagarius species at this size.
I'll wait till they get bigger. Maybe I'll see the differences exactly in future.

the orange yellow ones are rutilus, they grow intermediate size., i think you have 2 of, the one with the mottled color, with bigger eye is probably bagarius bagarius.

the bagarius yarelli should look more like the rutlius but with more green and brown. hope that helps., there's debate that the ones from India are actually a different species all together. the ones you have, I'm pretty sure are from Thailand, which there is also a "giant" found there, the one we commonly call bagarius yarelli
