well i broke down and went and bought a 240 gallon tank, 8x2x2, i am going to attempt to breed dovii's in it and want to know peoples opinion of setup and filtrating. will post pics soon. test filling now after working on strengthening the stand.

Sumps the way to go. Load it with bio and flow minnimum about 1500 gph & call it good. Watet changes are very important though. 100% minimum weekly imo

Your killing me man 240, and just a pair of Dovi, you have got to put a group in there and let it be survival of the fittest. Did you get a good deal on that 240?
