well my gut instinct to go home was right. came home to 2 dead fish, thank god it was the small dithers, and a fx5 that was not working. the water was almost green and im sure the water parameters are terrible but im doing a 50% change now and then later tonight i will do a 10-15% change. my family said that they were all there last night when they check on them. o well at least all will be fine now i hope. im ordering an aquatop for it as a back up should have at the beginning but funds were low. i will post picks tonight of the tank

Is it a polishing pad thats clogging? If so ditch it and get the marineland rite size bonded filter media. Its a large sheet just cut to fit. It doesnt clog as fast and all you have to do is spray it off to clean it.

Lol....Nevermind just saw pics. So it looks like the jag and dovii want to pair. Thats a good sign. Your dovii may not be able to fertilize eggs yet at least not too many. Hope it works out.
