true since 90% of all adult silvers and some juvy silver's I've seen either have full-blown or slight DE, Asians and Jars, havents seen one with DE yet... Gene related abnormality in silvers??? i guess and an unavoidable deformity more often than not

You can look through the indodragon book series and see several adult asian aro pond breeders with de, sometimes severe.

Also, based on what I have read on several forums, it would appear asian aros jump much less frequently than silvers. That could possibly lead to more support for the "head trauma leads to de" theory.

Have a look 4 posts before yours. There is a picture of an asia with DE, and if you actually read this entire thread you will also see a jardini with DE.
