Just out of interest TITAN POWER you said "It's my dream to own this tiger, now I can sleep soundly" did you like it because of the way it looks and it is not like your normal dat or did you think the fish looked normal?

To answer your question, I used to own a ST comm and during my ST craze I chance upon a square shape body ST which I love a lot. But back then not available. Soon I gave up my ST comm. Only recently I had this chance to own it.

Well when I saw this a few months back I had sleepless night n dream of it, the Price was hard to bite, so it was my dream fish back then, with it swimming in my tank, I can now sleep soundly.

Thanks for all the comments, I am a short body fish lover, not only its cute but also very rare. This pcs highly not possible to be man made, else it will be all over the place.

It's only about 4 inches. I am glad to those who love it

For the rest, my dream is your nightmare sorry then. I never commented before others fish as ugly. This is my first post in mfk but I am not new to fish forum. I agreed is a defect but a beautiful one. Well you are entitled to your comments, I welcome it, so here's mine, my grapes are sweet, yours???;)

You paid good money for a fish with a deformed body you should cull it

Good for you. It's good to see that you are not getting all bent out of shape as a result of a few negative comments.I've seen members in the past get all hot and bothered and vow to no longer be a member here just because something was posted about their fish that they didn't like.No point in me saying to each his own as you are obviously mature enough to know that already and it has been repeated enough times here.

I love tigerfish myself, but this is definately not what a tiger should look like and to be honest it probably wouldnt have survived in the wild or have reproduced again. Nature has spent many years perfecting the design of its many species and they look the way they do for a reason.

Human nature though, trys to nurture & protect the weak and stand up for those who cant stand up on their own, but this isnt how its supposed to be in the animal world as it makes a species weaker at the end of the day. (god only knows what its dobne and doing to the human race!)

Im glad you are happy with the fish, yes its an oddball and probably rare.. I just hope that they dont try to dilute the species more with this as a common breed

Yeah, someone already mentioned that this is probably a natural occurance rather than a work of science and I'm willing to bet that it's reproductive system is compromised.
