Bought some new apistogrammas and the LFS owner showed me his way of acclimating new fish. The owner made the dripper free of charge and makes it for all of his first time customers. The cup sits up high and the dripping water promotes oxygen in the bucket. The bucket sits on the aquarium water so the temp will be the same as the tank. It took 3 hours to get the PH up from 6.0 to 7.6 using this method and as you can see the fish adjusted really well.

i like my way but thats cool for thoe little monsters

3 hours! yikes!

what kind of method do use? this is the first time i use the drip method.

You could use airline tubing in to a bucket on the floor. Get a siphon going from the tank and knot the tube to control the flow rate.

yup, take an airline, tie a knot in it, and start the siphon.
you can controll the drip or flow rate with the knot tightness

your looking for a drip a second
temp should be fine as you are dripping from your heated tank
also you want to double the water you start with
