The easiest way to catch the little ones?

No problems with either. What time of year should I do this? I missed spawning this year I think so it will probably be next season. Oh well hunting season is in I'll be busy.

The fish I want to catch are much to small for hooks......

doubt that. ive seen people fish for three spine stickleback. theyre max size is around 2"

go to sportsmans warehouse or bass pro shop and look in the fly fishing section and pick up some 20's (those are hooks not the rims)

This is what I normally do but all I catch are bluegill. What would be the best time of year to go looking for bass and crappie? When do their eggs usually hatch?

I know for sure that bass usually spawn mid spring. About the time the water temp gets about 50-55 degrees. Crappie I have no clue but im pretty sure that crappie spawn out farther in the lake around deep weed beds. I hope this helps.
