is my friend

So clear it up for everyone, is it a spider or cricket you're talking about. I think it's a cricket because when I had anole lizards, the crickets would be a pain trying to sleep with all the chirping, The Doctor.

only poison spiders are not welcome to my house! I like tarantula, I'm thinking about getting a bird eater but not sure my mom gonna like it or not, especially when it grow up to 12'' leg-span !

Every spider has venom. I think people eat spiders in other countries, so they are not poisonous.

Every tarantula, every true spider has venom....they gotta eat somehow.

When I say "true" spider, it has to do with anatomical differences between tarantulas, and regular spiders...the number of book lungs varies...*says to self...this is a fish forum, stop geeking it up*

tarantulas do have some kind of paralyze chemical, but its not dangerous for people. Beside tarantula had never been bitten people, the only thing that really dangerous from them is the hair form their belly, those are itchy and can be dangerous if it got into our eyes. Tarantula use them to defend themselves, but they can only use once after molted, so I only need to take those off every time they molted !

I'm sorry, this is not a true statement at all.
There are varying degrees of tarantula venom. Every tarantula can and will bite if provoked enough. The only tarantulas that have urticating "hairs" are new world species. All old world species do not have these as a defense mechanism, and typically are more aggressive and have a more potent venom.

If you try to remove their fangs after they molt, they will "bleed" to death.
A tarantula can bite many many times over and over, they do not die or lose their fangs like bees lose their stinger.

And I know many people who have been bitten by tarantulas.

Every spider has a venom of some sort, if Im not mistaken the most poisonous spider in the world is is the daddy long leg. I guess they just dont have big enough pincers to pierce ones skin. Gah I hate spiders! They make me scream like a little girl.
