He looks great! One of the best young specimens I've seen. You've really done a great job of documenting his progression in this thread.
I just sold my big guy at 10" the day before last.
I'm going start over with a set of his offspring that are currently ~5" with hopes for similar results as Scott.
I miss him a lot already though.

He has came a long way and looks better and better with each update. Great looking Midas with a nice nuchal!!
He got his first kill today, the tiger barb he skinned a couple days ago didn't make it. Time to go peel it off the filter intake.
I tried Tiger Barbs last year they got picked off one at a time but put some size Psycho. They sleep head down and he would pick them off at night, they're sitting ducks when sleeping.
