The extremely unusual CA Cichlid

This is truely most important fish for me.
My pair might be final fishes in the hobby.
I took these photographs after an interval of two years today.

Nice steins! I love the long powerful snout that they exhibit. They look like a beefed up, badass lab. Do they get along? Any breeding activity??

This is a fish I would love to have!! Maybe I will come to Japan and pick fish up from you.

For what it's worth this is a very interesting fish both behaviour and evolutionary wise. May not be bright and shiney but it is an incredible fish. And, as Seiichi mentioned, he may be the only person in the world that has a captive pair. That is impressive in and of itself.

It takes a trained, experienced eye that is open to more than just pretty colors to appreciate the awesomeness that is this fish.
