what is the most extreme thing you have done to keep fish or to help your fish? for me it will be moving my fish tanks and my bed room to the basement so can keep as many tanks as i can fit in the room i am taking.

I married my wife just to have a lifetime support in keeping fishes :D

But apart from the marriage itself being the social death of "man"...

...actually even without fishes...it was worth it
;)

I thought you said "How Far Have You Gone With A Fish"... I was gonna say "All The Way, Once...". But how far have I gone... hm, I have a 55g tank in my room that blocks half the doorway and all of my closet door. I have to attach a rop to my ceiling and Tarzan-Swing into my closet every day for clothes. =/

the room im moving to is small but the closet will hold all my tanks no problem. and the closet has a concrete floor so drips arnt a problem.

I once killed a man to feed my fish... LOL JK
When I was 13 a friend of mine told me about a friend of his family that had two oscars that needed a home immediately. Well, I had a 150 setup with just platies to cycle it. Back in the day when I used fish to cycle a tank lol. Well this friend lived about 35 miles away and I couldn't convince my mom to take me out there until the next weekend and I thought they would be gone by then. So, I stuck a 5 gallon bucket in my backpack and rode my bike 35 miles to get the fish. I then put them in the bucket, filled halfway with water, and duct taped the lid shut. I then proceeded to pedal 35 miles with 40 lbs of fish and water on my back. I got them home fine and they lived for about 5 years after that. They were already huge when I got them so I figured they lived a pretty long time. It's funny to think back on that now because if someone showed up at my door with two oscars for free I would turn them away LOL. Crazy things kids do...

i came home with my 150gallon tank then are measured tank but its got a homemade stnd which is a bit longer so it wouldnt go where we meausered...she said lose it i said NOOO....after major lounge rearangements it now in lounge and one of the sofas is now in master bedroom

I hope that was a bit exaggerated?!?! Wow, 65mph for 48 hours with no breaks? That's got to be a record somewhere. Call Guinness. Figure the cost of gas at $2.85 a gallon conservatively back then; $442.61 in fuel at 20mpg. Boy, hope that fish was worth it.
