it is a 250 gallon deep diemention tank, 60x36x27I'd hapilly take the eel but I'm in Germany so shipping costs might explode

thought you had a 250 deep, maybe a other peoson had a 250... well you can't have the pacu then beaccause is is only 2 ft deep, I think the ID sharks will be fine tough... anyway it is a nice set up with cool fish...
No an ID shark will not be fine in a 225.

Keep those ids well fed and in good water conditions and they will keep up with your pacu. I can tell you this from experience.
I do all those things and they have stopped growing. Every afternoon they have full bellies and then in the evening they get more food. The Pacu grew 4.5" in kne month. I think pretty much any fish would have a hard time keeping up with that. I was told IDs are slow growers by other members on here.
