The first fish I ever bought just died.

Thanks again. I got him @1", then had him for almost 6 years. I don't think he ever stopped growing, but there was a period where it was very very slow.

He went out over the course of a month or so. Started getting HITH and I couldn't stop it.

every o i had got that.Does anyone here know the real deal to prevent it,i love os and just refuse to let it happen again,never fed live goldfish,reg water changes and filter stuff you know,so what gives.Real sorry to hear about yours.Same happend to me about 1 year ago,not my first fish though.He lasted like 6 months in a seperate tank and i couldnt beleive he was still alive and active considering how bad it got.meds didnt stop it.So really what gives?Sorry again,this stuff makes me mad.
