The Fish You Miss.....

For those of us who’ve been in the hobby a long time, we’ve all had that “one” fish who we remember the most. Whether they passed on, or were re-homed, they still still amazed us with their character and beauty. I invite you to share your favorite (former) fish, and provide a brief description and picture of him/her.

For me, it was my beautiful piebald Red Devil Cichlid. Due to spatial reasons, I had to re-home him back in 2014. He was the smartest, active and most beautiful Amph I’ve ever kept. I miss him every day. Here is was @ 12”, right before I re-homed him.

I look forward to seeing all of your former beauties!

EBJD he spawned with EBJD females regularly but I could not get him to spawn with a regular female jack to save my life. Got frustrated and sold him wish I wouldn't have.

A Midevil that I owned yrs ago. He was such a character, and was definetly a wet pet. He would take large pellets from my hand one at a time, and never nip. When my entire arm when in during water changes etc, he would try & draw blood every time. lol

I was an idiot and at the time I decided that I wanted a "pure" midas, so with limited tank space I rehomed him. A move that I still regret to this day.
