I suspect that some kind of foulness was at play and Carol was wisked away....alive after the viewing windows were covered...gotta admit they had me for a second and I thought that big inmate was going to murk Carol..but how anticlimactic would that have been?
I was trying to be discreet as to not give away any spoiler, but ok
half of me feel the same way you do about it. the other half thinks it really happened. we'll see I guess. for sure they left it open to do as they wish one way or the other

The three of us are the only few who regularly discuss it so I wasn't too worried about a spoiler.
It still amazes me how these guys seem to always be a step or two ahead of the top law enforcement organizations in the country so and that is mainly what fuels my suspicion with Carol...

I've set aside my gripes about the show and just enjoy it for what it is
even my wife finds it interesting but she can't stomach some of the gore, as fake and light as it is, she just can't stand things like that. so she'll watch it with me, then look away or leave if it gets too bad.

She must have loved the scene in which Crazy Joe shoved the stun baton in the guard's eye socket and gave him shock treatment.
I hadn't watched most recent episode so I haven't read since I last posted.
I don't think the deed was done. I don't think they would continue on with the execution same day after that kind of break down....so I'm skeptical that there was always a plan in place.
Yes theo mentioned another villain that's a key to him disappearing but the price is Ryan Hardy's death. Gotta start thinking of past characters. it's unlikely that it's Luke/Mark. Who else is there?
