People weren't always able to keep corals. But now, people have whole reefs in their basements! What do you think will be the future of fishkeeping? What will be able to be done that we can't do know?

filtration. i think 15 years from now we will lol at the fx5

I think they will invent a cheap way to put tons of pressure on water without breaking the tank, so we can keep deep, deep water fish.

I'd like to see planted tanks that require less equipment.

basically more compact, more efficient, cheaper filtration and equipment.

oh and flying tanks.... everyone is still waiting for flying cars so why not?

Hopefully within 15 years I have my truly monster tank of my dreams. And hopefully the fish I want to keep are still available, not just neon tetras or something.

Filtration, drip systems, and more species of fish will be bred, to lessen up pressure on wild stocks. I think more fish will be kept in general, more species of sensitive fish and aquatic creature will be able to be imported like freshwater Shad, Silver Robber Characins, Jellyfish, etcetera.

Dang T, you got threads in every section now don't ya :grinyes:
You remind me of me when I first joined here...lol

i like the more pressure for deepwater fish

Yea maybe conservationists will realize if you involve the public that we could kepp, breed, and replenish rare species; or throw them in the wild and screw up ecosystems lol hopefully not though. And yea I feel filtration improvements have been most dramatic and will continue as such. I'm kinda hoping for new fish tank materials that may be cheaper, maybe like a thick clear plastic of some sort that would drop the cost of new tanks.
