i wont feed them feeders constantly... but its alright to feed them feeder once every few weeks right?

yeah if you have a quaruntine tank to leave the feeder fish in for a while. I wouldn't feed them goldfish either if you have a spare small tank you should get some guppys and let them breed in it. They would be a much healthier safer meal to feed your O's with. The conditions that most feeders are raised in are horrible and full of disease. Not good to give your fish unhealthy fish to eat.
