Holy feeder, Batman!!! You have some beauties there. That first one is a pig, I mean crap, it could feed a family of four. Great looking fish. You breed 'em?

I'm trying to limit my breeding to the heirloom fish that are at risk of extinction like the Philadelphia vieltail, bristol shubunkin, line bred ranchu, Blue Egg Phoenix (just got them!) but my other area of interest in getting fancies back into out door ponds. There are fancies that do just fine in all these "koi ponds" people squeeze in their back yards.

That's not a koi pond but it would be a great goldfish pond...

What do you keep?

Those are NICE Goldfish...but I prefer wild ones... the Carp shapes ones. The y're awesome! When I was like 7 my parents would set up Goldfish tanks for me...they were 5 gallon now I know that 30 gallons is adequate for Goldfish.

ive got my last 2 feeder goldfish out of 30 in a 5 gallon hospital tank and the orange one isnt doing so good but the dull yellow gray one is doing fine.

check water params, maybe PH is up

everything is fine jsut he isnt doing well....i think he has ick also....idk..

If they have ich and you can salt your tank (ie no plants or salt sensitive fish) that will kill the ich.

The dose is one tablespoon (3 teaspoons per gallon). When the ich moves off the fish as part of it's life cycle they will die in the salt.
