i honestly dont see why everyones givin him a hard time. im sure if 3 or 4 days went by without feeding, hed feed them. and like buster said, 2 days is hardly "starving."
my three ornates have been hunting a 2-3" goldfish for two days now, but they better hurry because my african tiger pike is picking the goldfish off one at a time now, whish i had video camera because it is so fun to watch!!!
It was two an an half days before they ate the goldfish, I would have feed them that night anyways. I usually keep them well fed and the goldfish stayed alive, I was just wondering if they would eat him if I didn't provide food for a day or two, that's all...
Yeah... I don't know about this whole "death roll" thing... when my 6.5" senegal got ahold of a corey, all he did was go onto his side and pound the thing mercilessly into the sand... I've never seen him do ANY roll on his z-axis more than 90 degrees... maybe it changes with the different species...
your bicher isnt in the kool club i guess:jk: i dunno, mine do it when they get big feeders but do what you were decribing also. for every complete circle they make, they take a couple of thoose 2
I don't know where you guys dream this stuff up, but bichirs do not do a "death roll". Not now, not no how! Period! I've kept bichirs for about 38 years, never seen it!
