The Great Green Water Mystery

Yeah, that is what im saying. After the cleaning, the only green in the tank was the drops of water hanging from the hood glass. No green tank water, no visible algae,hood is clean and clear. So a picture not very helpful.

Must be something in ur tank. Are the pellets green?
 
It is about six feet below the window. The window is about 10 feet of the ground. I can garantee it never gets any direct sunlight, just ambient in the room.
 
I always experience this. What I usually do is I do a 80% water change then cover it. I believe this due to lighting.
 
I had this problem too. No matter how many water changes I did it came back! It was getting me mad! It was always a little cloudy because mine was a newly set up tank but it got green and impossible too see my fish! But I did an 80% water change way larger then the others and had no lights for 3 days and changed all the media and then a few days after crystal clear!
