it looks like the chinese perch that wes is selling at Rare Fish. you should ask wes to figure it out. im 100% positive its the same perch that wes has.

i agree. its a chinese perch.

I just bought 6 identical fish. That's a barramundi and it will get considerably larger than a dat. BTW, these fish do better in light brackish conditions.

I have never seen barramundis so young, interesting.
It had to be either lates or siniperca though.

Siniperca don't have a thin white stripe on top of the head. They have a light patch with 2 widening black bars running past the length of the light patch. Anywho, I hate trying to distinguish these guys, by color, when they're this young.
I thought barramundi first because of the placement og the jaw hinge. The hinge is very nearly even with the placement of the rear edge of the eye. Siniperca's jaw hinge extends noticeably past the edge of the eye.
