Well it all depends on the size but I do know they get them.... right now they got Atababo pike and lenticulata ... they are on MFK under vendors or you can also add them on Facebook. They ship and your alot closer than me so I would take advantage of them because they get great fish
$550-$650 at Monster, honestly other then private sellers those are the prices I see them going for. Jeff/TangledUpInCichlids, Monster, Aquascape, Freshwatertropicalfishonline and on Aquabid those where the prices.
Guess Cali got the hook up, which isn't surprising cause they get everything fish over there. Yes, the West Coast hate is real in the boogie down. lol. Seriously though if you look in our marketplace private parties often sell Zebrina around that price. You'll just have to be patient and hope one becomes available by you.
Though Zebrina did come in with a force this year. They went from never being seen to all over the place. How many where available this year may reflect that they maybe easier to catch wild now. Or that demand in other markets went down so the US saw more of them. Hopefully one of those is true and between that and the number of people claiming to be trying to breed them, the increase of them in private collections and the story on price maybe very different next year. Then again it maybe just a fluke and they won't be around for years again. Happened with the Tiger Scats and just like with the Zebrina the demand was high.

I believe 11-12 inches max size..
I seen them with alot of different species but tank size is a big factor in that
The purported size is as Keem said 11-12 inches but I've seen pics that would suggest otherwise. I wouldn't be surprised if they could break 14 inches. As for Tankmates as long as it's not too small these guys are relatively peaceful but can hold their own in a semi aggressive community.

has kept them with discus and I'm pretty sure with Oscars as well. And I'm keeping mine currently with Ingot, Mammon, Trachycorystes cats, Red Tapajos I pike and some Monicae pikes. In my video at the time the Zebrina was also sharing the tank with some Albino Heckelii. I plan to try and add my 2 Platinum Scherzeri and a Colo puffer to the mix.
