I can't see why not. Mine is fine on his own, not reclusive or nervous as a pair from what I've seen they get along relatively well. Some even keep them in groups. I've written a thread or two about Zebrina if you search my username and use Zebrina as the keyword I'm sure they'll pop right up.Could i keep them in a 240g with discus? And are they more comfortable in a pair ? Thank you as well kolt, this is my first experience with pike cichlids, i really appreciate the knowledge your providing!
Definitely alot of colorful types of crenicichla just research them you will see =)Thats awesome, im a cichla temensis guy but the zebrina has caught my eye and got me into pikes, are there any other pikes that are equally as colorful as the zebrina?
There are indeed, some even more so. However as I said usually they're pretty nasty and hard to comm. with other fish. Here's some of my pikes. Sorry it takes so long for me to respond I couldn't find most of my pike pics.Thats awesome, im a cichla temensis guy but the zebrina has caught my eye and got me into pikes, are there any other pikes that are equally as colorful as the zebrina?

Pikes are almost always wild caught and have to be broken off of live. Growth rates vary depending on species but I wouldn't say any of them grow especially fast.Whats the growth rate on these guys are they easy to get on pellets?
Just 5 but I've kept a lot more and couldn't find any of my pics. Hope they didn't get erased some how.how many pike do you currently have?
