yeah, the thing is i noticed some ambiguity in identifying this species. I see people post threads announcing its' an ansorgii and people are like cool, ansorgii! but i wanted to see what other people think before saying it. maybe i did end up with a hybrid. i think darius brought it up and it got me thinking. i've notice my two other hybrids (i might have 3 now lol) have the same facial markings as my pbb, and lap (the triangles) and now this new ansorgii/hybrid. I personally have a hard time picking out what characteristics of the endi comes through in a hybrid and what makes the ansorgii unique. frog eyes? eye space? head shape? body pattern? i've noticed both species and hybrids these characteristic have a huge range. the only clear differences i can see from the pics in the ansorgii thread with the red JDM sand. but those guys are huge and do look more pbb like, same body markings.. maybe my pbb is just a huge ansorgii? lol. maybe only time will tell and when these guys pass the 20+ inch mark
I agree. I think the parents would be the most interesting factor in these hybrids. Also, which genetics would prove dominant? Endli or ansorgii?
Pattern, color, finnage, headshape make me saying AnsorgiiXEndli hybrid. I've grown out 6 of these hybrid from small, they all look the same besides slight headshape difference and pattern.
