i wouldnt say the japs are one upped from America. Our technology is actually something like 25-50 or even more years ahead then what the public has been told.

I just mean in the sense that they went ahead and made an entirely fake pop star. Though they are way ahead of us in certain fields like cellphones and of course robotics

Yes, it is clearly a projector on a clear screen. You can even see the white points of light that are the origin of the image. It's a 2D projection of a 3D program.

No, I can't imagine paying to see a video as if it were a concert. But it is fun to know it's out there.
