The misses mentioned rummynose coloured nose is reflective of moods, this correct?

Yeah, thats to be expected having a colour variation in your teardrop vials. Your write up even mentioned it would happen closer to any output device yeah.

Its sometimes difficualt to determin if aquascaping should be changed or modified in the early stages. Having a mental plan of grow out style is prob the best approach.
How do you go about this bud - lets delve into the mind of a mental patent :)
haha well you tell me, what is it you want to know?? :)

I am in awe. Amazing tank.
Influence, future style, stategic plant growth, placement.. dont know, its your dime! lol
haha well hmm lemme see...

- influence: this is all across the board really. i love Amano's iwagumi-style tanks, i love the densely planted jungle look, and i also like the dutch styling. im not particular to any one style, as long as it'd done well and scaped in a way that pleases the eye. i guess i'm going for a mixture of all sorts of styles.

- future style: hmm not sure about this one, gotta see what the tank looks like once its filled in. i HATE messing with the layout of a planted tank, i dread it! once all the plants have grown, it kills me to disrupt them. that's why im trying to get it how i like right now that the tank is new

- placement: before i start a tank, any tank, i usually have a vision in my head of what it will look like. im not one to draw out any plans, but i have an idea of what i want. but that usually changes as i go along. i usually end up adding plants that i hadnt intended on adding at first. and sometimes the more i look at the scape the more i realize something is wrong with it, so ill change it up. as much as i hate it to be, my planted tank are always a work in progress. there's always something that im not happy with and needs fixing. planted tanks are never at a 'finished' stage IMO.

and to make it even better, i just finished re-scaping the tank today. adding some more plants, and hacked down the anubias bush. but im not ready to show pictures yet. soon, maybe

Looks good!
When I first saw those brilliant rasboras their tails reminded me of scissor-tailed rasboras and I was going to mention it;) might of helped you out a little sooner. If you added a few they should school nicely with the brilliant rasboras and from what I hear are a little hardier. Either way I love the scissor action.

"Didjya git a proper turnback on 'em saddle clamps keed?" Ha!..memories...Dude I LOVE the rigging job you did on the filter socks! If that wirerope is coated, check the clamps often. I used to have a really sweet Nicopress swager that went all the way up to 5/8" wirerope. Jeez man, how did we ever become desk-jockeys?!

Dude, Jose, that's pretty awesome man, nice to see you are still in the fish game.

Oh yeah...I want to pick up another Jardini...just need a tank to put it in lol...20g rimless probably won't do the trick for now!

Giant planted tank with a Jardini in it will look pretty awesome. I've got the vision, now I need the funds.

Maybe we can try it out on somebody's 5ft tank if we can convince him to put some substrate in there!
