Last spring I bought a tiny itty bitty calico fantail goldfish (i know boring) from petsmart just because he was so darn cute. With-in a week i noticed one of my rocks moving... WTF ITS A SNAIL!!!.... there must have been an egg on my fish because i had no problem before. So I got rid of the snail, and went on vacation for a couple of weeks, while my friend fed my fish that i soon later named Gilbert. I came back and there were thousands upon thousands of snails in my 10 gallon tank. I took gilbert out, put him in a dif tank, and had to clean him off, and clean the tank. Needless to say within a month, the tank was filled of snails again....
Lesson to learn- Just buy some snail killer instead of washing it 500 times....
PS. Gilbert is fine and is now 9 inches long and weighs a whopping 7lbs.... hes a big guy....
