Stringy WHITE poop is a sign of internal problems, whether they be parasitic or bacterial. With plecos, they EAT a lot, and are supposed to eat a lot. People more often underfeed plecos. They have always been known as "poop-machines." They are grazers by nature, and that means they are almost constantly eating.
Yep....stringy white poop,not a good sign...My fish's poop is not really all that big,they look like little grenades,but they must be heavy because they don't seem to go up the tube when I do water changes.
