this is real sad... lost 2 at one time..

tink only senegals could kill themselves this way.... other bichers do over-eat but never to this extend...

I lost a 10"senegal few years back in a same way too... It took on a 5-6" normal pleco and swallowed it... only to find it dead with the pleco's dorsal pierced thru the body...

Sorry for the loss of your gobie! Do you have a picture of the gobie inside the stomach?

BTW My Lapradei are in the tank with 2 Xiphophorus maculatus (platy) and 1 adult male Poecilia reticulata (guppy) and a lot of young guppy's. They where my cicle fish and where trapped in the filter (Eheim 2217), I found out this monday while cleaning the filter and put them in the tank. They still live.

dang, i hope to not see my 6 inch pike cichlid in my 5 inch bichirs stomach in the future, or vice versa! lol
