Wow, at least he's hanging on still. Has he eaten at all? When is the last time he did eat anything that you know of? This is heartwrenching. Fingers crossed!

If hes checking you out thats a good sign, shows hes not catatonic and is interested in his feeder. Try a earthworm with all the dirt sqeezed out. Whenever mine is being a ***** he will always accept an earth worm. OR buy a rosy red(small one) and either bang his head so he floats but twitches or dangle him by the tail.

I dont know, it's been at least 4 days or so....My buddy that owns the LFS told me may to treat the tank for internal parasites just in case, and also act like I'm ignoring his tank. Still monitoring it on the same note. If he swims to the top like he wants me to feed him, giving me the "I'm a Hungry Fish" look...Then I should feed him. It's just so hard, I'm just confused...tried so many different things. Anyhow, he seems to be doing a little better...he checks me out when I walk by and if I go up to the tank, he'll swim to the top and just kinda hang out with me. Maybe he's bored and needs a girlfriend or something.
Not really...I saw him swim to the top of the tank today....maybe it was a parasite, since I treated it yesterday. So I treated the tank once more...tomorrow I'll do a 50 percent water change. When the little dude went to the top of the tank I tossed some brine shrimp in there and even though I didnt see him eat it, he did snap at a bubble. Which means his appetiites probably comming back..I think the medicines helping him feel better. I hope he comes around tomorrow, I no he's weak and cannot take much more of this and neither can I...I miss me ole' fishy. But I think he might make it, what a fighter this guy is. If he makes it to a rip adult age, he'll be eatting like a king!
