Why thank both you and mei...Actually today I come to see that my little dudes still swimming in the middle of the tank but looks like he feels a heck of a lot better....not sure but he does seem to be swimming like a model on the cat walk, kinda flaunting himself....not food taken from me yet:(. I am gunna go to work and attend to my appointments, then when I come back I'll try and feed the guy and give a 50 percent water change. Geez, he really has been on this for quite some time now....What a strong one if he makes it through. I think I'll try some live food later.

I think it sounds like he just might make it. Didn't you just get him from a place 4 hrs away? The water could be very different. I went from city water, with chlorine, certain ph and hardness. Then I moved into a house with a well of mtn. glacier runoff, high high ph and hardness. I had a big Aro at the time of the move, about 2 wks after I moved. The fish adapted to the changes and was OK, but he was floating on his side and belly up but he pulled through. The fish can handle the high ph and hardness, but it was obvious to me it made a huge hit to the fish's system.

Yours sounds like what happened there to a T.

Actually the ph was fine, but anyhow........WOOO HOOO!!:headbang2
When I came home today, I saw that my aro was swimming on the top of the tank.....still looking kinda ill but I walked up to the tank and. He came right up asking for food. I tossed in a freeze dried shrimp and he curled up and shot for it like a bullet. Then he went back to the middle of the tank. I think he'll be alright!:nilly::headbang2:grinno::D I'm so stoked!

I think he might have had a parasite.....from what? I'm not sure...but after I treated the tank he started to make a comeback. I feed him only freeze dried food's and hikari food sticks...not sure where it could come from.

That is so great! I've rarely seen Aro's come back from as bad as he was, It made my day to read that post! Good job, you're a great fish dad! I'm really so happy for you, I love stories with happy endings.

So lets see some pics of fish just emerging from near deathm and more in a week to see the progress!!!

Wahhhooooo:headbang2 :headbang2 :headbang2 :headbang2 :headbang2 :headbang2 :headbang2 :headbang2 :headbang2

Thankz mei...I'll put some pix up soon enough.:D

Now my little dude, eats like a savage...geez, must have been really hungry. Today was the first time in a long time that I seen him eat like that. Actually, he's like in a hunting mode or something. I toss in a FD shrimp and he stalks it, curls up and darts like a crackhead that just found a free rock. :D I'm so very happy that he's doing well...I add some pix soon:headbang2

Here's a updated pix, thankx hightimes!:D
