If the datnoid is stable and good markings AND accepts feeders, I'm sure we can work something out.

I just don't want my 22" aro thinking it's food and biting him as soon as he his the tank. He tried this with some 7-9" Limas.

So not a done deal, but lets talk.
 
Agreed. Definetly not a done deal. The tig is the one fish I really don't want to part with, but will do so for the right fish.

Just an update. We test filled the new tank and there was a horrible crack in the seam, so I'm keeping the tank. 95Harley...keep in touch with that datnoid. I'm still interested.
 
Here is a pic or 2 of the Dat I took when I got home today. My larger one is making his life hard so I'd just as soon he go to another good home.

I'm not 100% of his worth yet so were still talking, but I'm interested. I'm guessing he's 8-10" but I didn't pull him out and measure him. I can if needed.

Looks like were about 200 miles apart. Still doing my homework on the worth of each and the compatibility of the Tig with my fish (Dat, Silver Aro, Royal Clown) in a 180g.

I've had the Dat for over 2 yrs. How long have you had the Tig and what is he eating?
 
Would you be interested in putting the dat for purchase? After a serious face-to-face with the Tig during tonight's feeding (shrimp and earthworms) I've come to the conclusion that I cannot let him go.
