What's your reason on why though? Ive tried rapala brands and had better luck with the banjos, heck thats how i lost all of them. I'll look into the X-Rap though, thanks for the suggestion.:)

are banjo minnows really crap? my friend says they are pretty good, but not as good as the mark white lures.
 
I use the banjos for Northern pike and monster chain pick's
soft plastics work good, at my lake i only use live bait every so often since it is eaisly depleted and only know of a few shoals where to seine net them
