Is this the main sump?

I'd think that flowrate through a sump that size would be much too fast to utilize K1 to its full potential.

Very nice mate,looking great so far,don't want to steel your thunder but I've got a 72" x 30" x 19" sump ready and waiting for my 9' x 4.5' x 3' tank when its built so I will probably pinching some ideas from you bud,hope you dont mind.
Although mine isn't a DIY apart from the internal,keep us posted.
