Thank you everyone for the nice comments. This guy is still my favorite too. I'm surprised that his nuchal hump hasn't taken off yet. I know it will tho. My other guys hump has. Something tells me this guy is gonna get huge!
 
He is looking very nice i cant wait to my Male gets to his sort of size, how long has it took roughly for him to get to the size he is now?

well i got this guy back in January and he was 4" i think. as for a female.... well ill see, i might have something in the works, but who knows;)
 
Hmm thats what chris was saying... these are definitely a little harder to sex than rio mags lol so far all of us who have had the location X has been fooled once;) like the one you have was supposed to be a male LOL Hmm.. we might have to work something out cause Monster X needs a big girl otherwise he'll destroy it. I have an 10.5" location z femae that i was conteplating keeping to pair with monster. But she is currently with my other x male that will be going back to Chris.

Well Last nite the other male decided to cross the divider to hang out with Monster. I came home from work to find that other male Murdered!!! completely de-scaled. not one scratch on Monster. So now he has the whole tank to himself.. sometimes i wonder if he planned this the whole time and coaxed the other guy over lol. its not really that funny but in some demented way i try to find humor in it:irked:

Sounds like an episode of the HBO prison show, OZ...lol. Sorry you lost an Umbee. Monster looks great though. I can't believe he grew so much since January. Hopefully you'll be able to find a nice BIG female for him. I have a few plans for new tanks in the coming months, one Dwarf Cichlid tank, one saltwater, one brackish, and at least one large enough to keep some Umbee growouts. Maybe I'll be able to get some fry from you when the time comes.
