Went on an epic late night drive down to the warehouse of Designs By Nature (www.designsbynature.net) with JK47 this last weekend in Eugene, OR and got 5 new backgrounds. Also have a 6th on the way... This will bring up the total tanks with backgrounds in my house from three to nine and the total number of tanks I've had with them (one cracked and one sold) to 11.

These will go on a 180, 75, 29, and three 20s. Also in the house already is a 225, 90, and 20.

So I'll just periodically update this thread with the progress on these.

Ok so in between the time I posted this topic (3:00pm) and now (3:45pm) I have already installed one. This is a 20 gallon long with the "Gecko" background.

Just lay down some GE 1 clear silicone, put in the BG, touch up the edges, and put some weight on the background to help seal the silicone. On tanks without braces these things install in 20 minutes!

Thanks. They are really not that much when you compare them to the price of fish or filters, especially the small BGs (under $100). But I guess they're not for everybody.
