Awesome!! I look forward to seeing the completed tanks

Hah this is awesome I can't wait to see the progress. That Gecko BG is soooo SICK!!! I'm glad they don't come in 6'+ sizes or you and I would have been boxing it out over who gets it

I could see it now... That's me in the green ==> :nutkick: "It's mine back off you butthole!!!"

Wow man, that is one awesome pile of urethane foam! They're all nice, but I like the one on the far right a lot.

Done.

I like to let the silicone cure at least a few days on these tanks, this will sit as is until the rack is built.

dam nice collection! may I ask how much these backgrounds go for in the states? amazed by how cheap canisters are over there wondering about 3D backgrounds! I have always wanted to do this for all my tanks but over here we are looking at 350-400 for a 6ftx2ft high same in the states or is it like the fx5? lol cheers sorry if this is considered thread jacking =(

You can click the link in the first post of the thread and check out the prices. They really vary depending on size and design.

They do look great, but prices definitely are far from cheap... i guess i'm spoilt living in Hong Kong, where China copies all these types of things and sell them for a fraction of the price... i think my 24" X 24" 3D background was something like USD $2.5 and the nicer more expensive ones were like USD 25 for a piece that was roughly 36" X 24"...

Although obviously the one i bought is not nearly as nice as those ones shown here, but i'm sure its just a matter of time before their workmanship gets better and i might start seeing nicer pieces in HK for dirt cheap prices...
