IME these are the most active fish i have owned. tank is active 100% of the time, and even more so during feedings.
That I've had experience with.. My giraffe cat for sure. Especially when the lights go off; he's constantly slurping at the top of the water, pushing rocks and wood around and making so much damn noise. When he gets fed, he goes absolutely nuts.
Besides that, the constant digging, re-arranging, and chasing I've seen with cichlids is pretty active too.

In my tank id say the aro but those tinfoil barbs are always moving around and they school to so pretty nice
